Some writers can DIY almost anything. Most of us need hands-on support.
If you’ve come to the realization that you will need to hire support for some aspect of the book design and book production process, it’s nice to work with someone you know and trust.
Because I have many years experience with design, marketing, communications, and print and digital production, I’m able help indie authors with hands-on support as needed.
If you’re looking for a trusted resource, I highly recommend joining the Alliance for Independent Authors, aka ALLi. As a member, you will gain access to their community and their in-depth publishing guides to essential publishing processes for indie authors.
For fun, informative conversations and excellent guests, particularly for indie authors who write in series and genres like romance, urban fantasy, and cozies, give a listen to the SPA Girls podcast. They’re beginner-friendly, and discuss things like writing craft, marketing, advertising and mindset.
